DUNCAN BAY ROAD FIRE UNDER CONTROL

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C – The Duncan Bay Main Road fire is now considered under control.

The fire, which started on Wednesday, was burning under a power line on the Duncan Bay Main Road, just off of Highway 19.

According to Coastal Fire Service, there were no problems with the power line and local crews will likely be calling it out this afternoon.

As of this publication, Coastal did not know the cause of the fire.
