COURTENAY, B.C- The fire department in Courtenay is putting together a car-wash fundraiser this weekend.
According to Captain Greg Lamb, the department will be holding the car wash and a barbeque at the Courtenay fire hall, along Cumberland Road, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
“We are raising funds for one of our own; Andy Quinn, who has been training hard as a member of the 2018 Tour de Rock team,” said Lamb.
Lamb said the department is accepting donations for Quinn and his teammates, and offering car wash services with barbeque items.
