Dub in the Park II at Simms Park tomorrow

COURTENAY, B.C. – Simms Millennial Park should be bumping tomorrow.

Dub in the Park II, a free, family friendly electronic music event is coming to the park from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m.

“Bring your lawn chairs, a picnic and lay back as DJs Jamie M, Nick R and friends take you on a journey through dubbiest of disco, funk, house and of course reggae,” the event’s Facebook page notes.

Dub in the Park II is being promoted by word of mouth through the local community.

“We figure good people come together naturally,” it says on the Facebook page. “This is an opportunity to enjoy electronic music in a scenic outdoor public space with friends and family in a safe and inclusive environment.”
