Free hockey program day set for this weekend

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – Women interested in hitting the ice and improving their hockey skills can check out a free program at Strathcona Gardens on Saturday.

The ESSO Fun Day invites female skaters ages four to 81 to lace up their skates between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on September 15th.

The program is free, but registration is required due to insurance requirements.
