COURTENAY, B.C. – Expect slowdowns in a busy section of Courtenay today.
The city’s Public Works Services has noted that the Old Island Highway just north of Ryan Road has been reduced to single-lane alternating traffic today while crews repair a water main.
The work is expected to continue until approximately 4 p.m.
Traffic control personnel are on site to assist all commuters.
