Comox all-candidates meeting scheduled for October 12

COMOX, B.C. – Comox residents, circle your calendars for next Friday, Oct. 12.

That’s because there will be an all-candidates meeting that night for all Comox Council hopefuls.

The meeting runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Comox Recreation Centre.

During the meeting, the public will have the opportunity to ask questions of all the candidates.

Providing sponsorship is Comox Tomorrow, a non-aligned group seeking positive civic engagement in the Town of Comox.

The municipal election happens on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Town of Comox candidates include:

Mayor: Russ Arnott and Tom Diamond.

Councillor: Alex Bissinger, Don Davis, Ronald Freeman, Ken Grant, Chris Haslett, Stephanie McGowan, Patrick McKenna, Nicole Minions, and Maureen Swift.
