COURTENAY, B.C. – The Comox Valley RCMP has confirmed that a body was discovered in Courtenay over the long weekend.
Constable Monika Terragni said the body was found behind a business on the 1000-block of Ryan Road on October 7th. The body has been identified as a 68-year-old male.
Terragni said there is no evidence to suggest the death is a criminal matter. The investigation into what happened has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service.
