Comox Valley RCMP looking for witnesses after attempted sexual assault in Simms Park

COURTENAY, B.C. – The RCMP are looking for witnesses after an attempted sexual assault at Simms Millennium Park on Friday, October 12th, 2018.

According to a release from the RCMP, a woman reported she was exiting the bathroom at Simms Park at approximately 5:45 p.m. when someone pushed her and tried to remove her pants.

Investigators believe an un-identified female interrupted the assault. They would like to speak with this person or anyone who may have been in the area at that time.

The woman believes the suspect is a man. He was wearing a black hoodie, yellow socks, and white running shoes.
