COURTENAY, B.C- Hundreds of people filled downtown Courtenay to mark Remembrance Day today.
Veterans and current members of the Canadian Armed Forces marched through the downtown to Courtenay’s cenotaph, next to the Sid Williams Theatre, along with police officers, firefighters, and other service members.
The streets around the cenotaph were shut down during the parade, and the ceremony.
