COURTENAY, B.C. – Emergency vehicles blocked the intersection of Cliffe Avenue and 5th Street after a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle earlier this morning.
According to the Courtenay Fire Department, the woman was not seriously injured but was taken away by ambulance.
The RCMP, Courtenay firefighters, and BC Ambulance paramedics responded to the accident.
