Protest outside Value Village

Shocking allegations coming from three former employees of the local value village thrift store, who were picketing outside the store today, carrying placards denouncing local management as ‘bullies.’

Jet news spoke to the protesters outside the local store, about exactly what’s going on here?

Other issues the protesters brought up include the Value Village bonus system for workers in the back.

They say while the front of the store appears ‘cheery’ it was the back where the real problems are happening. Allegations of verbal abuse, unsafe working conditions, and bullying from upper management lead all three to quit their jobs at different times.

One protester said when she told management she was quitting because of the poor conditions, they simply escorted her out of the building.

Multiple calls to the Value Village communications department were not returned.
