Power knocked out in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND, B.C- The power is out in Cumberland.

According to BC Hydro, the outage extends west of Royston Road, south of Highway 19, and north of Comox Lake Road.

The cause is under investigation, and there have been multiple reports of trees down on power lines throughout the day.

2174 people are listed as affected by the outage.

A crew has not yet been assigned to deal with the issue.
