Cumberland residents asked to report graffiti

CUMBERLAND, B.C. – The Village of Cumberland has issued a notice about graffiti.
Following recent tagging, the village is asking residents to help stop graffiti by reporting any cases of the vandalism to Comox Valley CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
“Reporting graffiti helps track taggers and helps reduce the negative impact and costs on the community,” read the notice.
“If your tip leads to the identification of one of the people responsible for this vandalism you may be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.”
Residents can also report tagging with a photo to the village office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (250) 336-2291.
