Big moves coming from the Green Party?

Green Party Leader Elizabeth May is eyeing up Vancouver Island and hoping to turn several ridings green in the next election.

May was in Nanaimo this week to see party members confirm Paul Manly as the candidate for Nanaimo-Ladysmith. Glenn Sollitt has been confirmed in Courtenay-Alberni.

And May says they’re looking forward to naming some other solid candidates soon.

She says they’re aiming to win at least 12 seats across the country, and gain official party status in the coming election.
