A huge blast of snow on Mount Washington has gone a long way towards salvaging Mount Washington’s crucial winter season!
Resort spokesperson Don Sharpe says skiers and boarders have come out in droves today after 26 cm of new snow overnight.
Prior to the huge dump of snow on Mount Washington, conditions were looking pretty sketchy on the mountain, with the amount of open terrain being substantially scaled back. Tomorrow the front side of the mountain re-opens with staff going into high gear today prepping the operation.
