Another week–another wave of residential and commercial “B and E’s” in the Comox Valley.
But RCMP Constable Don Sinclair says police are making progress in a major ongoing investigation of numerous thefts.
On Monday of this week, police investigated several reports of vehicles being entered and various items stolen, in the 28-hundred block of Piercy Road in Courtenay. RCMP say in all the cases, the vehicles were left unlocked.
On January 17 a report was called into police of a break, enter and theft that had occurred at the business located at 7387 Island highway North. Thieves smashed their way into the business and once inside stole approximately $ 10,000 to $15,000 in jewelery, knives and other assorted items.
