Passenger numbers sky high for Comox Airport

It was a successful 2014 at the Comox Valley Airport! Total passenger numbers jumped up 2% from the previous year, to about 318,000. CEO Fred Bigelow says that in 2015, there’s a lot planned for YQQ that will please a lot of travelers.

He says the airport plans on expanding this year with WestJet Encore. Air Canada service is also coming back to the airport, so people travelling on Aeroplan points won’t have to drive all the way down to Nanaimo and will be able to fly right from Comox.
