Work along 19A will cause delays

COURTENAY B.C- Travellers along Highway 19A north of Courtenay will be seeing some minor delays over the next two weeks.

The stretch of Highway 19A between Dundas Road and Dingwall Road will be impacted.

According to the city, road crews will be brush cutting and tree pruning on Thursday and Friday, March 21 to 22 and Monday to Wednesday, March 25 to 27 from 8:00a.m till approximately 2:30 p.m.

They have advised motorists to use caution when travelling through the area and have said you should expect single lane closures (and minor delays) in both directions.

Traffic control personnel will be on location to direct commuters and the city has reminded drivers to drive carefully around the crews.
