Grand opening for Too Good to Be Threw this Friday

COURTENAY B.C- The Too Good to Be Threw store will be unveiling its new, temporary location this week.

The Comox Valley Transition Society and the Too Good to Be Threw store will be opening its new facility this Friday.

It will be located at #239 Putledge Road and will stay there until they can get the old location up and running, according to manager Myron Shutty.

“This store is to tied us over until we can get back downtown, our goal is to be back downtown in our old location.”

Shutty added that although the temporary store is smaller, donations have kept coming in.

“Come down and see what we have, there is a lot here even though its a smaller location.”

“We’ve been overwhelmed with donations from the community, and we’ve done our best to get everything on the floor,” Shutty added.

The grand opening will take place Friday March 22nd at the new location, and will include tea from David’s Tea, prizes, a 50/50 draw, and new merchandise to choose from.

The store will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, and donations are being accepted Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
