Car flips at Ryan and Back Road, injuries unknown

COURTENAY, B.C- A crash at Ryan Road and Back Road led to a flipped car this evening.

According to multiple eyewitnesses, the crash took place shortly after 9:30 p.m, and involved two vehicles. One ended up on it’s side.

One person had to be removed from the vehicle, but is not believed to have suffered major injuries.

The intersection of Ryan Road and Back Road is partially blocked by emergency responders, and drivers heading through the area should take an alternate route.
