More “irons in the fire” for funding huge South Sewer Project

So earlier we told you residents in the core area of Royston will need to shell out anywhere between 22 and 26-thousand dollars to come on line for the South Sewer Project, which will also hook up Union Bay and possibly Cumberland, if all goes according to plan.

But that could change, says project spokesperson Kris La Rose, at a recent public information meeting in Union Bay, which Goat News checked out to update the latest developments on the 50-million dollar plus project.

As for timelines in getting residents in the core area of the seaside community of Royston on line, which is Phase One of the project…

The CVRD’s South Sewer Project aims to hook up local residents to a new sewer system, scrapping septic systems in the southern area of the Comox Valley.
