Still no sign of a labour deal for BC teachers, as local teachers picket valley schools today. Goat News spoke with District 71 Superintendent Sherry Elwood.
Elwood says the time has come to take down the picket lines, put away the placards and head back to class.
Meanwhile valley teachers are holding a rally in downtown Courtenay this afternoon, at the school board office and in front of the local MLA office.
