Temporary trail closure today

COURTENAY B.C – The Lerwick Nature Forest trail network will be closed today for maintenance and repair.

The City of Courtenay have said the trail closures are due to a tree causing dangerous conditions.

The closures will affect the bike path just off Sheraton Road (between Cummings Road and Hawk Drive) as well as the Fairy Lane Trail.

The closures are anticipated to only be for today.

They are asking residents to stay clear of the area for your safety, and the safety of all crews working on site.
