Crews working to fix power outages

COURTENAY B.C – B.C Hydro have reported multiple power outages around Cumberland and Courtenay this afternoon.

B.C Hyrdo crews are currently working to restore power to parts of Courtenay and Cumberland after strong winds knocked over lines, cutting power to residents.

Current Outages are as follows:

In the Village of Cumberland; West of Royston Rd, South of Inland Island Hwy, and North of Comox Lake Rd. With 2201 customers affected.

In Courtenay; West of Lake Trial Rd, North of Inland Highway, and South of Rachel Rd. With 95 customers affected.

In Courtenay; West of Arden Rd, and South of Cessford Rd. With 266 customers affected.
