Knitting up a tune

62,160 Stitches. That’s the name of a campaign by Courtenay musician Joey Clarkson. She’s raising funds to record her new single. And she’s doing it in a way that’s never really been done before. Goat News caught up with Clarkson to find out more about the campaign and her unique fundraising method.

In total, she’ll need to make and sell 84 headbands to meet her fundraising goals. So how’s she doing so far?

Now as far as where the name came from?

You can find out more about the single, Runaway, and the 62,160 Stitches campaign on Clarkson’s Facebook page as well as her website.
