Campbell River RCMP looking for assistance after assault

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C – A man was assaulted in Campbell River last week and police are asking the public to help located the suspect.

On April 27th, at approximately 4 p.m, an older gentleman was driving an SUV north on Highway 19A towards the Campbell River

Near the Driftwood Rest Stop he has passed a larger, or “lifted” truck, who then followed the SUV to a parking lot next to the Willow Point Tim Horton’s.

The man in the lifted truck confronted the man in the SUV, and then assaulted him before leaving the area in his truck.
