17th Street Bridge opening up tonight

COURTENAY, B.C- Drivers in the Comox Valley should expect a delay tonight.

According to a notice from Mainroad North Island, the 17th Street Bridge will be opening up at 5:00 p.m. to let one boat exit the marina in the Courtenay River slough harbour.

The name of the vessel was not provided.

Motorists heading through the Valley at that time should expect a delay at the river crossing.
