Property recovered and suspect arrested after break and enter in Courtenay

COURTENAY, B.C. – Comox Valley RCMP arrested a suspect and recovered stolen goods, following an early morning break and enter in Courtenay earlier this week.

On May 14th, Comox Valley RCMP received a report of a break and enter at Slegg Building Materials on the 3200-block of Small Road.

The suspect(s) had already fled with roughly $3,000 worth of property.

Investigators from the Comox Valley RCMP Crime Reduction Unit quickly gathered enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for a residence in Courtenay and recover all of the stolen property.
