Road delays expected this week

COURTENAY, B.C – Drivers can expect delays this week as city crews work along Ryan Road.

According to the city, Ryan Road from the Old Island Hwy to the Highway 19 bypass, and Puntledge Rd near Ryan Road will be reduced to single lane traffic.

Work will begin Monday, May 27th and will continue until Wednesday, May 29th from 7:30 a.m to approximately 4 p.m.

Crews will be conducting ground water monitoring and sampling during those times, and the city reminds commuters to drive cautiously as they work.
