Road work expected to cause delays in Comox

COMOX, B.C – Work on the underground electrical installation for the new Taphouse project begins Tuesday.

According to a release from the Town of Comox, Knappett Industries will be starting the work on May 28th.

The work will consist of excavation and installation of the required utilities across Church Street, and asphalt re-installment, as well.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m with completion of the project expected on June 7th.

The release said equipment and heavy truck traffic will be present throughout the duration of the construction, and traffic will be reduced to single lane only.

Construction signs will be posted and traffic controllers will be on site to assist with the traffic flow.
