Cumberland concession renos complete

CUMBERLAND, B.C. – The long-awaited renovation of the Cumberland Lake Park concession is now complete.

That’s according to the Village of Cumberland and park operator, Cumberland Lake Wilderness Society.

The $30,000 project focused on upgrades to the building’s plumbing, electrical systems and ventilation systems.

The installation of an exhaust hood and fire suppression system, in addition to a $3,000 investment from CLWS in commercial kitchen equipment, will enable the return of grilled and fried items to the menu.

The society has subcontracted food services to the co-owners of Pig’n Out Dodge City, who said they are excited to open the doors of “The Lake Hut” to park visitors on June 15th.

The concession is open daily from 11:00am to 7:00pm for this summer.
