CVRD hosting solar power open house

COMOX VALLEY, B.C – The Comox Valley Regional District will be hosting a solar power and energy efficiency open house.

The event will take place from 3:30 to 6:30pm this Wednesday at the CVRD’s Water Services Building, located at 299 Puntledge Road.

Residents are invited to connect with local solar installers and energy advisors to learn how to reduce their home energy consumption and explore how renewable energy could work for them.

Those who attend can also learn about CleanBC incentives, CVRD rebates and BC Hydro net metering, as well as solar for electric vehicle (EV) charging.

The event is a free drop-in style open house, with solar installers and energy advisors hosting educational booths.
