Stolen driftwood fox sculpture found

Fergus the Fox is safe and sound.

The driftwood sculpture had been stolen from its home on the Oyster River Nature Park trail over the weekend. The Campbell River RCMP says a tip this morning came in that led police to Fergus’ whereabouts.

Police say he’s going to be returned to his “natural habitat.” This is the second time in just over a year Fergus has been stolen. If you know anything about this theft you’re asked to call the Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
