Talk about kicking off the busy summer tourist season in a big way! Jennifer Manuel with the Vancouver Island Visitor Centre in the Comox Valley says visitors from far and wide have been pouring into the centre to prep their stint in the valley.
Manuel says many of the visitors decide to spend a few nights in the Comox Valley, adding the centre offers one stop shopping for various guest services.
Manuel says 2014 is on track to be a banner year for visitor numbers, she says nearly 68, 000 people have walked through their doors since the Vancouver Island Visitor Centre opened up for the season.
