City looking for input on Transportation Master Plan

COURTENAY, B.C – The City of Courtenay is asking the public to give feedback for future transit improvements.

The Transportation Master Plan will guide future decision-making on changes for all modes of transportation in Courtenay.

Manager of Engineering Strategy Lisa Butler says it’s important to voice any concerns you may have on the plan.

“We’re always so open to feedback from everybody in the community about what works and what doesn’t work for them in the development of these plans.”

“This is your chance as a resident in the community to make your concerns heard, and we will be taking all of the comments and feedback received during this public comment period into consideration as we revise the plan for final council adoption.”

The Transportation Master draft Plan plan can be viewed on the city’s website here, and a paper copy is available at City Hall.

To provide feedback on the plan, email [email protected].

The draft is available for review and feedback until Thursday, August 8th.
