Nickel Carnival comes back to Lewis Centre

COURTENAY, BC – The annual Nickel Carnival is coming back to Courtenay.

On July 19th, games at the carnival will only cost a nickel for children ages five to 11. There will be games with prizes, face painting, mini putt, and a duck pond.

The carnival runs from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at the Lewis Centre. Admission is $3.00, with $2.00 returned in carnival tickets.

After paying for admission, families will receive a punch card for playing games. There will also be a concession booth with hot dogs, drinks, and other treats.

This year’s theme is Mardi Gras, so expect exciting colours and festivities.

Parents and caregivers of kids with special needs are encouraged to come early, so each child can have more time with each game.
