Lego Robotics camp coming to Campbell River

North Island College is bringing its NICBotCamps back to Campbell River.

The summer camp is open to students aged nine to 14.

Students are taught to build, program and control Lego robots, which gives them an opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun environment.

NIC says the community liked the first round of the camp, which is why the college is offering another week of it in Campbell River.

There are two levels, both of which will be available. Level 1 is for students aged nine to 12 and Level 2 is for students aged 10 to 12 who have some Lego robotics experience.

Camp registration is open, and the deadline is August 9th.

The NICBotCamp will run from August 12th to 16th.

Another robotics camp will be held at NIC’s Comox Valley campus from August 26th to 30th.
