Cumberland phase three road construction starting in August

Cumberland is reminding you that phase three of road reconstruction along Egremont Avenue is coming up.

The village says work will include the installation of new storm drainage as well as road resurfacing from Windermere to Ulverston Avenue.

The construction will also include work in the three-way stop intersection by Cumberland Community School.

The village says you should expect road and sidewalk closures on Egremont Avenue with detours for local traffic and pedestrians.

It says whether you’re driving or walking, it would be best to avoid the area next month.
