Unknown injuries after vehicle plows into Courtenay storefront

There’s no word on the condition of a woman after her vehicle crashed into a store along Cliffe Avenue.

The crash happened shortly before 5:00pm Sunday evening.

The vehicle went off the road and ended up in the backside of Comox Valley Kayaks & Canoes, near the airpark.

Eyewitnesses say a woman was behind the wheel, but they couldn’t say what exactly happened.

Multiple employees were in the store when the vehicle came through one of the walls.
