If you’re heading down island today, heads up: a serious crash has closed Highway 19 southbound just north of Nanaimo.
Reports say the crash is a rollover that involves two vehicles, one of which is a semi-truck. It happened at Exit 29: Ware Road.
DriveBC says there’s no estimate on when the road will reopen. A detour has been setup via Superior Road.
