The second annual Cascadia Poetics LAB Society poetry festival is coming in October.
The festival kicks off October 4th in Cumberland and aims to engage the public in a community-based literary arts festival.
It will feature many events like poetry night, a discussion panel, and even workshops for those interested.
The festivities start on the 4th with a celebration for the Cumberland Community Forest Society and a Poetry/Science Pub event at the Masonic Hall.
The two-day celebrations finish on Saturday night with a poetry reading session.
