Search and Rescue looking for new recruits

The Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue team is hoping to recruit more people to its service.

The organization will be hosting an open recruitment night in November.

The goal of the open house is to not only showcase what CVGSAR does in the community but also bring some new people to the team.

You can meet some of the members, see all the equipment that the team uses on a basic search and rescue call-out and learn about what it means to be a Search and Rescue volunteer in B.C.

The open house will be happening from 7:00pm-9:00pm on November 28th.

More information can be found on the team’s Facebook Page, here.
