Now it’s important to practice safety around the water. That’s where the Comox Valley Marine Rescue Society steps in.
They have a deal in place with the town of Comox, and are looking to renew that.
Comox Mayor Paul Ives hinted that a second vessel added interest to renewing the deal.
He said that Comox council plans to consider that in next week’s meeting as a report from staff is provided.
