Delays expected along Highway 19A for new crosswalk signals

The city of Campbell River says you will see minor delays this week to allow the installation of crosswalk signals along Highway 19A.

The lights will be installed along the highway at 2nd, 5th and 6th Avenues.

The city says traffic could be affected between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday.

Later this fall, more pedestrian lights are set to be installed as well.

New ones will be built along the highway at the 1st Avenue intersection, and at the Maritime Heritage Centre intersection.
