If a stranger comes to your door, don’t let him into your home.
That’s what the Comox Valley RCMP is saying, after reports of a man going door-to-door along Willemar Avenue last month.
The RCMP received a report of a man who was going door-to-door in the 1600-block of Willemar on Oct. 18 or 19.
One resident allowed him into her house where he stayed for roughly an hour-and-a-half, collecting information.

He was asking about the contents of the house, wanted to see bank statements, and was recording information on a laptop.
It doesn’t look as though he took anything, or that he used any of the information that he gathered.
The Comox Valley RCMP encourages you to not allow door-to-door salespeople inside their homes.
