New taxi service set to hit the streets

Some competition is on the way in the Comox Valley later on this summer, when you need to snag a cab ride home. Ambassador Shuttle Service has been given the green light by the BC Passenger Transportation Board to roll out a new taxi service. Goat News spoke with company owner Kevin East.

Meanwhile East says plans are in the works to hire on some new staff to run the two new taxis and new dispatch facility.

When it hits the road with their new service in a few months time, Ambassador Shuttle will be going up against Comox Taxi, giving valley residents another option on local taxi service.
