Comox Valley Community Foundation Gala raises over $70,000

The Comox Valley Community Foundation’s Crimson & Gold Gala brought in over $70,000 for the organization.

CVCF Board member and Chair of the Gala Committee, Chrissie Bowker says it was another successful year for the Gala.

“The evening was elegant, yet fun, with delicious food and a tremendous program of silent and live auctions, music and an introduction to the impact our donors have had on our community.”

“We are so pleased with how this event has grown over the years and would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers and guests for their continued support of the Community Foundation and our Gala.”

The CVCF works with local families, businesses and organizations to create funds that support the Comox Valley and its residents through grants and scholarships.

Over the past 23 years, the CVCF has awarded more than $2.5 million to over 159 local non-profits and 180 students in the Comox Valley.
