Comox Valley man featured in film showcased at Banff Film Festival

Bill Mclane is the leading man behind a short film that was featured at the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival.

The film, titled “Billder” took a look at Mclane’s dedication to building biking and walking trails on Vancouver Island.

The six-minute movie showcased how he and others spent much their time working to make the trails rideable and walkable for everyone to enjoy.

Although it didn’t take home any awards, ‘Billder’ made it into the finalist category and was showcased throughout the community at different events in Nanaimo, Courtenay, and Campbell River.
