Thieves target storage lockers at Courtenay condos

The Comox Valley RCMP is investigating the theft of several sets of golf clubs and a mandolin.

On Dec. 18, the RCMP was called to a condo building at the 3000-block of Royal Vista Way in Courtenay, after a report of a break-and-enter to the storage lockers in the building.

The suspect(s) may have gained access to the secure parkade by following an unsuspecting vehicle.

Once inside, they pried open the doors on the storage lockers.

The mandolin that was stolen is a valuable family heirloom.

If you have any information on this or any other crime, you’re asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.

To stay anonymous, you can contact Comox Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at comoxvalleycrimestoppers.bc.ca.
