Power out in parts of Courtenay and Comox

BC Hydro is reporting that some residents may be experiencing a power outage this afternoon.

The cause of the outage is not know but the service says it’s currently under investigation.

Around 1400 people are believed to be affected in the area East of Smith Road, North of Cruickshank Avenue.
